I had diphtheria twice. My father worked in the hospital as a doctor. He brought home all the children'sdiseases. We had many children's diseases. One nanny died of scarlet fever. She caught it from us. We were very, very sad about that. When I had diphtheria for the second time I got a horrible rash from the serum Boils on my whole body that itched. My father was very.. I guess, my father hadn't permitted me to be vaccinated at school.
